Stepping Stones Diabetes Workshop
Stepping Stones Workshop: Spark Interest, Build Trust, and Inspire Hope
An Experiential Workshop for Health Care Providers & Health Leaders
Workshop Overview
Stepping Stones is a 1.5-day interactive workshop designed to ignite hope, strengthen confidence and re-imagine what is possible in diabetes prevention and care.
Grounded in hope, empowerment, equity, and strengths-based practice, this workshop invites participants to explore diabetes differently—centering people with lived experience, drawing on science and culture, and focusing on what supports healthy blood flow, now and for generations to come.
Rather than following a rigid agenda, Stepping Stones moves at a pace shaped by participants, allowing meaningful dialogue, shared learning, and trust to emerge naturally. Follow-up learning and connection opportunities will be offered after the workshop to support ongoing reflection, application, and community of practice.
