Workshop Description:

A 3-hour introductory workshop for people who are involved in healthcare and health leadership to explore a strengths-based way to think about diabetes, that truly honours and respects people with diabetes throughout their journey. Learners will gain exposure to the IDEA Diabetes philosophies that focus on cultivating safe spaces for all people involved with diabetes. We’ll also begin discussions about some tools and resources that we truly believe are game changers in making a real difference for diabetes experiences and outcomes.

• Inspire hope and possibility for a beautiful future in diabetes  
• Learn about what we are trying to achieve in diabetes self-management
• Prompt participants to consider how to take action to make a difference in diabetes
• Be welcomed into the IDEA Diabetes community
